Continuing Education

Designated members of CNAREA must participate in ongoing professional development to maintain their designation and membership. The continuing education cycle begins on June 1 and runs in two-year cycles. In each cycle, members must complete a minimum of 28 hours of appraisal education to remain in good standing.

CNAREA may accept external courses, seminars, and lectures for continuing education credit on a case-by-case basis. Members requesting external credit must submit full details via the member portal. CNAREA administration will review each request and, if approved, record the applicable CE hours on the member’s education record.
