Advancing to the Certified Appraisal Reviewer Designation

  • Any CNAREA member in good standing, who has had their DAR designation for a minimum of 2 years may enroll in the Certified Appraisal Reviewer course (CNA310) to obtain the Certified Appraisal Reviewer designation.
  • The Certified Appraisal Reviewer designation is valid for four years. 
  • To maintain the Certified Appraisal Reviewer designation, you are required to renew your designation every four years, and successfully complete CNA210 (Report Writing Update) every two years. Essentially, you will be rotating each course (CNA310 & CNA210) once every two years.
  • As a Certified Appraisal Reviewer, you are permitted to supervise up to 4 Candidates at any time.
  • It is important to stay up to date and successful with your education and membership requirements to avoid having the designation revoked.
