
CNA401 – Introduction to Income Appraising
This 4-day course is designed to enhance the understanding and capability of the DAR when dealing with Income Producing Residential Properties as well as wanting to advance to the DAC Designation.
The text for this course, 2.1 has been designed to give the appraiser a detailed understanding of the appraisal profession by:
- Defining what an appraisal is, the rules that govern an appraisal, the forces that create and affect value, and the process used to create an appraisal
- Explaining how to collect and analyze data, highest & best use, the methods of estimating land value, and the techniques used to estimate improvement value
- Analyzing the various units in the sales comparison, income and expense statements, the development of capitalization rates and value conclusion, and the reconciliation function
- Overviewing the time value of money concepts
This 4-day course is a valuable enhancement of the DARs understanding of Income-producing properties and is a required course for obtaining the DAC Designation.
