Sometimes your Zoom account automatically uses an existing username. Make sure your screen name is your First Name (always) and Last Name (or at least your last initial). NOT 123456, or your email, or child’s name, etc.
We at CNAREA need to be able to see the name of the person who is speaking so we know who we are talking to.
When you are logged into Zoom, you will see your user name, as it appears to the group, in your profile icon/box (usually the bottom left corner):
Simply Right Click (your mousepad) your profile icon/box, and select “Rename”.
A pop up screen will appear that shows your current username. You will change your name in this pop up:
After clicking “OK”, your username, as it appears to everyone, will automatically update.
